Fanny's Journey
The Alaska Jewish Museum and the Anchorage International Film Festival present “Fanny’s Journey.” The plot recounts the true story of a group of Jewish youngsters who are forced to flee Nazi-occupied France. Their hair-raising escape to Switzerland is based upon a true story and is the third feature from director Lola Doillon (“In Your Hands,” “Just About Love”). The film is a handsome, compelling period piece that deftly portrays events through the eyes of its young protagonists.
